Spoon Carving Class in Brooklyn, NY + New Packaging

September 10, 2015 Melanie Abrantes

Last month I had the honor of teaching a spoon carving class in NY at the cool creative space, Makeshift Brooklyn. I was traveling on business to attend the August show of Ny Now to introduce my newest line the Winter Collection. I landed in town a couple days extra to do some fun exploring and teach the class!

The class was great and full of amazing, creative people! (no surprise there since it was in Makeshift!) I was also able to introduce my new letter pressed packaging, curiosity of Parallel Print Shop, to the group! I am so excited to share it with you guys as well! It was a last minute print job and Parallel Print Shop were ANGELS to work with!

Everyone was able to finish a gorgeous spoon and one student even documented the whole process for a German blog Glowbus. I grabbed some images so you can see the lovely set up. Thank you Julia for taking such awesome images!

Interested in learning Spoon Carving? Sign up for my next class happening again at my studio next October!
